Farming with Predators - Human-wildlife conflict in Namibia

Results of the project

• So far there is one article written for the general public (non-scientific) on the history of farmer conflict with predators, especially the black-backed jackal (Jackal and Wolf and other true tales...).
• The final thesis is available on the Stellenbosch University web site: www.scholar.sun.ac.za.)
• Article based on the survey chapters of the thesis also available at Academia.edu and ResearchGate (African Journal of Wildlife Research 55: 458–461 (2025))
• Based partly on some of the reseach, I also contributed to some chapters in the Conservation Status and Red List of the Terrestrial Carnivores of Namibia book.
• A presentation (.pdf)) to the Globel Leopard Conference 2023 on leopard home ranges in Namibia.
